Dr. Jimmy Lovett

Principal

It is an honor and a pleasure to be the principal of Harbins Elementary School!  I have spent my entire career in education in Gwinnett County Public Schools and I am incredibly grateful that my path through GCPS has led me to Harbins! I began my teaching career at Bethesda Elementary School in January of 1999, where I taught third grade.  I also spent time teaching multiple grade levels at Meadowcreek Elementary School before becoming an assistant principal at Berkmar Middle School.  After four years at the middle school level, I decided to return to my elementary roots and spent seven years as an assistant principal at Grayson Elementary School before arriving here at Harbins in January of 2023.

I am honored to serve as the assistant principal at Harbins Elementary. This marks my second year in Gwinnett, and I have been warmly welcomed by the Harbins staff, parents, and community. It truly feels like home. Go Tigers!

With a 19-year career in education, I have had the privilege of teaching Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 4th grades. Ms. Adrienne Robb

Assistant Principal
Second Grade and Special Education

Greetings! I am Adrienne Robb, your proud assistant principal serving second grade and the special education department. My teaching journey began in Philadelphia where I taught for six years before moving to Gwinnett County. As a mother of seven, the county’s reputation for excellence in education is what drew me to Gwinnett. However, it has been the focus on family, amazing opportunities, and love for the Archer community that have made me stay.

I have been an educator in the Archer community for 15 years and this is my third year at Harbins Elementary School. I am excited about the work that has been done to establish a culture of excellence for our school and cluster. The foundation of our success is the families. The teachers and staff members at Harbins are committed to building on that foundation by providing the nurturing environment needed for young minds to grow. I believe that as we work together, your children will reach their full potential.

With three Archer graduates and one currently attending Archer, I have witnessed the growth of this community and I look forward to moving the work forward as I continue to serve at Harbins. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with celebrations, questions, or concerns. Peace and joy to you and your family!
